Odd Essentials

Give your server a home beyond the game.

Muninn, Skylark and Magpie turn a dedicated game server into a live website — maps, progression, and a running record of everything your group did.

  • free
  • open source
  • self-hosted
  • players install nothing

the problem

A server is a place. Give it an address.

Your group logs in, builds something, kills something, argues about where to put the portal — and the game keeps almost none of it. Chat scrolls away. The map is whatever each player happened to uncover. Progress sits in six separate save files, and the only person who knows what happened last night is whoever was awake for it.

Each of these reads your server directly and publishes what it finds: who is online, where they have been, what they have built, what they have beaten. One link, open in any browser, current for as long as the server is running.

Muninn

Valheim

A live website for your guild's Valheim server. Players install nothing.

  • World clock on a bronze dial, with a warning before nightfall
  • Zone leader — whose machine should host each fight
  • Comfort planner with recipes, totals and rested time
  • Biome map that reveals as you explore, so nothing is spoiled
The Muninn dashboard for a Valheim server named Ravenhold, showing a bronze world clock reading day 193, players online, and a zone leader panel.
Skylark

Palworld

A live website for your Palworld server, collected without a single mod.

  • Live player positions on a hand-drawn map of the islands
  • Palpedia per player and guild, with catch status and habitats
  • Breeding calculator showing viable pairs and species chains
  • Progression board for towers, bosses and technology tiers
The Skylark dashboard for a Palworld server, showing a sun dial reading day 450, four tamers out in the world, and a live map of the islands.
Magpie

RuneScape: Dragonwilds

The wilds move on. Keep their story.

  • A daily journal of who played and what happened
  • The Ledger — a crafting planner that traces every material
  • Journal tracker with unlock conditions and map locations
  • Skills, quests and bosses compared across every adventurer
The Magpie journal for a RuneScape: Dragonwilds server, showing four adventurers in the wilds, a woodland banner, and a live feed of level-ups and chat.

how it works

Three steps, then you send a link.

  1. Deploy the site

One click on Railway, or docker compose up on a box you already own. The database and backups come with it.

  2. Connect the server

Muninn installs a BepInEx plugin on the dedicated server. Skylark and Magpie run a collector alongside it, reading the game's own APIs and save data.

  3. Share the link

Players open it in a browser. No mods, no downloads, no accounts — and privacy switches let you hide positions, bases or chat.
